Welcome to the CCB Happenings for December 6, 2024.

From California Alliance on Aging and Vision Loss

AAVL has been going strong for 25 years, begun in part with the involvement of California’s own Teddie-Joy Remhild. In CA we saw the good that AAVL was doing and strongly believed that bringing advocacy, education and peer support to the statewide level would be beneficial. CAAVL was chartered in both CCB and AAVL in 2020. CAAVL was the first to affiliate with AAVL and encourages statewide and regional affiliation in AAVL.
CAAVL could not thrive without the participation of our members. It is once again time to join/renew membership in CAAVL for 2025. Membership dues can be paid by contacting Denise Weddle, CAAVL treasurer, at deaniew21@verizon.net or by calling 310-306-8149.
Membership dues are $20 and you will become a member of both AAVL and CAAVL. We look forward to your involvement. You can reach CAAVL by emailing ccb.caavl@gmail.com.
