Braille Institute Library will be hosting a special author talk event featuring Andrew Leland, author of “The Country of the Blind: A Memoir at the End of Sight." This event is FREE and open to the public.

Mr. Leland's memoir was published on July 18, 2023 and was a finalist for the 2024 Pulitzer Prize in Memoir. Mr. Leland will read a selection from his book and will be in conversation with longtime library patron and Braille Institute Board Member, John Nuanes.
