The CCB Awards Committee is seeking your nominations for individuals to be recognized for their service to our community through the presentation of CCB awards during our 2020 Conference and Convention. We are accepting nominations until May 15. Send your recommendations to Sharlene Ornelas, Awards Committee Chair, at accessachiever@gmail.com or call her at (760) 757-2097.

Are you a full-time post-secondary student, legally blind, and a resident of California? No matter where you attend post-secondary education (college, university, trade school) you may apply online for a 2020-2021 academic year CCB scholarship.

New CCB Affiliate:
We are pleased to announce that we have organized the California Alliance of Aging and Vision Loss, CAAVL, an organization that will work in behalf of older Californians living with vision loss. CAAVL is preparing to be an affiliate of the California Council of the Blind and of the Alliance on Aging and Vision Loss, a special interest affiliate of the American Council of the Blind.
