Welcome to the CCB Happenings for July 10.
In Memoriam:
Longtime CCB family member Bonnie Rennie passed away on Thursday, July 9 at her home in Santa Ana. Her husband, Bob, was at her side.
Bonnie’s articles and poetry were featured over many years in the Blind Californian. Bonnie served in many capacities during her long tenure in our organization, and was a longtime committed member of the orange County chapter. Quiet, but tenacious, intelligent but unassuming, and always kind and considerate.
Our thoughts are with Bob, loving partner and soulmate of over thirty-three years. Memorial arrangements are yet to be determined, but information will be shared when available.

From the Writers Group:
Hi everyone, 2020 has been quite a bad year. July has been an even worse month. As you know Bonnie Rennie left us. I didn’t know her as well as most of you, but I do know she was a loving, caring, supportive person. The Writers Group was one of her pet projects. Now that we are missing our leader, we will re-group and think about the direction the group will go. So, give us time to think things through.
Miss you, Bonnie.
