Inclusive Diversity

African-American Museum Association and AIRA Virtual Tour Live Stream Announcement***

On June 13, AIRA CEO, Troy Otillio, announced the beginning of an AIRA access promotion featuring the African-American Museum Association’s member organizations.

“beginning on Monday, June 15, and for the remainder of 2020, Aira will enable free, unlimited use of our service (both physical and virtual) for all museums, archives, libraries, galleries, historical societies, and cultural centers in the Association of African American Museums." The full list can be found here: https://blackmuseums.org/directory

Otillio further states: “Here, at Aira, we proudly state the support of Black Lives Matter and stand alongside the Black community in defiance of social injustice, racism, and police brutality.”

AIRA has planned a series of virtual museum tours to be streamed live on YouTube promoting different museums beginning August 28. AIRA has selected Stephanie Watts, an AIRA explorer from Northern California and a member of the ACB Capital Chapter of CCB, to join her as she embarks on an hour long tour of the African-American Museum of Iowa with an AIRA agent.
