Welcome to the CCB Happenings for September 25.
Information About AIRA’s Featured Event, Afternoon At the Museum, Hosted By Stephanie Watts From the ACB Capital Chapter of CCB:
National Civil rights Museum
Established in 1991, the National Civil Rights Museum is located at the former Lorraine Motel, where civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968. Through interactive exhibits, historic collections, dynamic speakers and special events, the museum offers visitors a chance to walk through history and learn more about a tumultuous and inspiring period of change. Learn more about the National Civil Rights Museum at www.civilirightsmuseum.org
Aira is proud to bring you our Afternoon at the Museum series to explore this rich content with one of our highly trained agents. Host Stephanie Watts will be joined by Paul Mimms, Aira Explorer, veteran and someone who has lived the civil rights struggle on several levels. We bring you this presentation as part of our outreach and educational support of Black Lives Matter.
