From the CCB Long Beach Chapter:

Greetings!
Please join the CCB - Greater Long Beach Chapter's monthly meeting on Saturday, February 13th at 10 a.m. We have a special guest from Aurrera Health Group that will give a presentation regarding the Coordinated Care Initiative for beneficiaries that hold both Medicaid and Medi-Cal.

From the representative:
If you or your family member have both Medicare and Medi-Cal, we can answer your questions. Our outreach coordinators work on behalf of the Department of Health Care Services to provide FREE information about the Coordinated Care Initiative (CCI) to older adults, caregivers, and health care professionals. The Coordinated Care Initiative helps provide better coordinated care to people with both Medicare and Medi-Cal, also known as dual eligible or Medi-Medis. It also introduced Cal MediConnect, a program that combines your Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits into a single health plan. Contact us to learn how to maximize your Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits and make it simpler for you to get the services you need."

Please contact Jessica Marquez at jmarquez@lbcc.edu or at (562) 344-5250 to receive the meeting details. Thank you!
