Afternoon at the Museum Goes to Mars!
One of the most exciting events of 2021 thus far was the landing of the Perseverance Rover on Mars. This week we bring you a special 90-minute edition of Afternoon at the Museum with guests from NASA, Dr. Michelle Thaller, Dr. Jennifer Trosper and Aira Explorer Denna Lambert. We’ll explore audio, video and photo content regarding the Perseverance mission and the Red Planet.

CAAVL Support Call:
The California Alliance on Aging and Vision Loss is one of the newest affiliates of the California Council of the Blind.
Our mission is to deal with the problems of aging and vision loss.
We especially want to invite anyone going through sight loss for the first time or currently going through further vision loss. Please let your friends know about this opportunity.
Each week we have a support call in which a number of us get together to share our daily experiences.
We meet every Friday at 10 am PDT and the program lasts an hour. All that is discussed is strictly confidential.
