Power Saver Rewards Rollout

California Council of the Blind is honored to be a grant recipient of the
2022 Power Saver Rewards education and outreach project.
The Power Saver Rewards program is a new initiative created by the
California Public Utilities Commission intended to provide residents with
rebate incentives for conserving energy during a called Flex Alert.
Flex Alerts are issued during heat waves and are designed to remind us when
and how to save energy to avoid preventable power outages in California.

California Diabetics in Action Newsletter Naming Contest

California Diabetics In Action (CDA) is having a contest to name our newsletter! Please email Christy Crespin off list at blind.lcsw@gmail.com and write Newsletter in the subject line. Send me your newsletter name suggestions. I won't let the cats out of the bag until our business meeting on July 23 when we all vote. There will be a $25 prize for the winner and the runner up. You do not need to be a member of California Diabetics In Action, but please feel free to join. For membership dues, contact me as well. I am taking Venmo for dues of $25, $15 if you already belong to ACBDA.
