Upcoming Speaker

You are cordially invited to attend the ACB Capital Chapter meeting on
Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. to hear our featured speaker Gary Glading,
author of Stars, Staterooms, and Stowaways. Come hear about movie stars and
interesting guests he met while working on cruise lines and the animals that
were rescued and stowed away on the cruise ships before 911. Gary recently
put his book in an audio format and narrated it himself. He has an animal
sanctuary in Italy. You won't want to miss this fascinating presentation. To

From Patty Nash:

Dear Members and Friends,
I am so sorry to report that our long-time Bayview member, very good friend and all-around wonderful guy Steve Fort has passed away from a short bout with cancer. He passed away with family members on late July 6 or early July 7.
Steve was a very long-time member of the CCB, was on its board, served on many committees and really knew his history. I wish he could have written some of it out for us. He was an encourager, loved sports, love music, and was a true friend and had a wonderful personality and always had a story to tell.
I know we will miss him for the time we have left here, but it is truly a comfort to know that he is no longer in pain or in ill health. If you would like to participate in a virtual memorial service for Steve, please contact Teresa Christian at:
teresa.christian.acbo@gmail.com

Thank you for reading.
