UniD Descriptathon:
The UniD Description Project is working hard to make public places more accessible in California through Audio Description.
There will be a descriptathon October 18-20. We have two teams from CA:
Aquarium of the Pacific in LA
and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks
To participate, all a person needs is a computer, a strong Internet connection, and the time to be engaged with their team.
The UniD app is available on both iOS and Android.

A Sunday Chat
Come spend part of your Sunday with members of the California Council of Citizens with Low Vision and enjoy "A Sunday Chat" with C C C L V! This is a call for those of us blind or with low vision as well as our family and friends, be they near or far, and topics will range from all things low vision to life in general as a bl/low vision person. Is there something you feel strongly about? Have you had a funny or interesting experience you’d like to share? Beginning Thursday, September 15 at 7:30 p.m., the CCB Publications committee will hold a Writer’s Workshop prior to each submission date for the Blind Californian.
