The Governmental Affairs committee wants to hear from members interested in participating in the ACB Legislative seminar the first weekend in March and making appointments with their Congress representatives for remote meetings soon afterward. From Resolutions Committee co-chairs, Sarah Harris and Jeff Thom

With the 2023 CCB Convention fast approaching, the time has come for submission of resolutions to the CCB Resolutions Committee, for ultimate hearing at the Sunday April 2, general session. In order to be eligible for consideration at the convention, resolution drafts must be sent to Jeff Thom by February 26, via e-mail at jsthom@comcast.net. If you have concerns with respect to drafting a resolution or you do not have e-mail, call Jeff at 916-995-3967, as we encourage everyone to become involved in the process and will provide any assistance necessary. Resolutions committee hearings are scheduled to begin on March 15 and end on March 19

Since time immemorial humans relaxed listening to stories. Tales of distant lands and people intrigued us. Time was harsh in caveman days. That mammoth was hard to chisel! Join us as we grab a brew and listen to Pedro Iniguez spin his tales and verse. No cave paintings here. Pedro uses a laptop to weave his tapestries.
