Power Saver Rewards CCB Community Call to Action”

California Council of the Blind is honored to be a grant recipient of the 2023 Power Saver Rewards education and outreach project.
The Power Saver Rewards program is a continued hearts and minds campaign/initiative created by the California Public Utilities Commission intended to provide residents with rebate incentives for conserving energy during a called Flex Alert.
Flex Alerts are issued during heat waves and are designed to remind us when and how to save energy to avoid preventable power outages in California.
I will be reaching out to CCB chapters to gather feedback along with volunteer opportunities. If you know of and or can encourage community members to participate in events this spring and summer, please contact CCB’s main office at (916) 441-2100.
For additional program details, please visit Power Saver Rewards or contact James Collins, CCB Community Educator at James.Collins@CCBnet.org.

Thank you for reading.
