from Adrian Amandi at the California School for the Blind
Alright, we're here. Some of you know we've been talking about this for awhile but the time is come to turn talk into action.
The last revision of the California Guidelines for Programs Serving Students with Visual Impairments was in 2014. That was more than a minute ago*. There are so many things that need a bit of tweaking, wholesale adjustment, or addition as new elements.
Please don't overthink signing up to volunteer. We need voices from anyone who is connected to the education of blind and low vision students or who wants to be. We need people with loads of experience and people with very little experience. The Program Guidelines need to be accessible to anyone and as such everyone should be part of their revision.
All of you are appreciated regardless of the amount of time you can devote.
Use this form to sign up to join the revision:

From the CCB Membership Committee:
Please talk with your chapter and affiliate members to consider what to write regarding your outreach, projects, etc. We will have a Chapter of the Year and Affiliate of the Year awards. Stay alert because the guidelines and questions will be coming out soon!
Thank you for reading.
