Hi there California Council of the Blind
I’m Daniel, the Aussie filmmaker behind the record breaking film THE BLIND SEA an exciting and inspiring documentary about World Champion blind surfer Matt Formston.
Our film is playing at the NEWPORT BEACH FILM FESTIVAL this weekend on Oct 20th and was hoping you could help us spread the word if you have members in your community who are LA-based or near the Newport area, as we’d love some local support at the screening, and we’ll be there for a chat afterwards. The film is super inspirational and exciting and has had audiences throughout Australia and New Zealand applauding the film and its representation of disability in the community. We cant wait to show the film to US audiences.
We've also partnered with Vision Australia to provide a best-in-class audio description service should any audience members need to use an AD headset.
