Welcome to the CCB Courier for February 28, 2025.
From: Resolutions co-chairs Jeff Thom and Gabe Griffith
Pursuant to the CCB Bylaws, resolutions must be turned into the committee 30 days prior to convention. Thus, to be considered at the 2025 Convention we must receive resolutions by April 1. You may send them to either of us, or to any other committee member. Gabe’s e-mail is gabrielgriffith@gmail.com and Jeff’s is jsthom@comcast.net. You may also call Jeff for assistance at 916-995-3967.
CCB Bylaw Amendments
Each year at our annual convention, members have the opportunity to propose amendments to the CCB bylaws. These proposed amendments are considered by the bylaws committee, then voted on by the convention in May.
You can view our current bylaws on our web site, click this link:

Proposed amendments for 2025 must be submitted to the bylaws committee by March 10. Email steve.bauer@ccbnet.org
or call (310) 558-4500.
Call for Candidates
It’s that time again, CCB Members. The first Vice-President, Secretary, and 5 Board positions are open. Be part of leadership in our wonderful blind/low vision community. The Candidates Forum will take place Saturday, April 12 at 4PM Pacific time. In order to be included in the Candidates Forum, prospective candidates are asked to submit their answer to the following question in writing, using 500 words or less, by email to ccotb@ccbnet.org no later than noon on Monday, March 17.
The theme of our convention this year is “Revitalize, aspire to inspire.” Please provide 3 specific steps you would propose to revitalize CCB and how would you inspire others to join with you?
