California Connection October 05, 2017

Welcome to the California connection for October 5.

Connection Guidelines

In order to help fit as much information in each connection please remember to keep your event and fund raising announcements to what it is, when, where, and who to contact for more information.

We apologize but we are no longer able to include items such as biographies and menus in the space we have. CCB state announcements will still be full length in order to provide everyone as much information as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Also please remember the information at the beginning of each connection of where and when to submit your announcements.

CANES Across California

We have designed a brief, half-sheet flyer with talking points for Canes Across California. It has both the CAC and CCB logos in addition to the text.

Nicole can send you print flyers or a pdf or text version upon request.

Blind Alive

Buy Blind Alive exercise products through the CCB website and we receive 15% of the proceeds.

Accessible Bus Sites

Hello everyone,

Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho and Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund are engaged in structured negotiations with a municipal bus system to improve the accessibility of its website. We are looking for GOOD examples of municipal bus system websites. Does anyone have any recommendations of public bus system websites that they can successfully navigate with their screen readers to find out arrival and departure times, routes, payment information, et cetera?

Please Contact Megan Ryan at 510) 763-9800 or mryan@gbdhlegal.com
Thank you
