The ACB Capital Chapter of CCB is inviting you to our Audio Description in Live Events and Theater
on June 19 from 10AM to 11AM. Monique Savasta and Ruthann Zeigler, members of the Chapter, will be presenting their experiences as audio describers at theaters and concerts in Sacramento as well as working with a cast of actors who are blind and low vision. Vision Loss Empowerment Workshop

CAAVL invites you to participate in an empowerment workshop on how to live with vision loss. All are welcome to attend. The workshop will be facilitated by Vivian Younger, a rehabilitation consultant and specialist for the blind and visually impaired.
As a result of participating in this vision loss empowerment workshop, CAAVL hopes you will gain confidence and develop a proactive approach for living with vision loss with dignity.

Several of us have decided and agreed to begin the process of creating a California Diabetics In Action (CDA) affiliate.
To this end, we will be holding a meeting on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM to begin the process.
