The Shimojo Psychophysics Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology is recruiting participants for a neuroscience study on multisensory interaction.
We are looking for people from the low vision population, age 18-85 years, and with no history of neurological problems and psychiatric diseases, currently residing in LA county. Participants will be compensated at the rate of $25 per hour and travel costs will be covered. THE 2023 STUDENT EDUCATION ACCESS GRANT Who Is Eligible?
A legally blind student ages 8-18 who lives in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, Napa, San Mateo, Sonoma, Solano, and Santa Clara Counties. The San Francisco Chapter of CCB will give a technology product selected by the applicant from the list below, with a maximum value of $1,000. The grant recipient will be the applicant who meets the criteria above and best demonstrates how the product will enhance their educational opportunities.
The products offered are: iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, Orbit Reader 20 Braille Display, Victor Reader Trek, Zoomtext Screen Magnifier, Zoomtext Magnifier with Reader, the JAWS Screen Reader, and Fusion.
