Welcome to the CCB Happenings for November 13.
Letter Line for Affordable, Accessible Housing in California
Tuesday, November 17, 7PM to 9PM:
You’ve heard of a Conga Line and a Party Line, but how about a Letter Line sponsored by CCB? We will be gathering on Zoom to write letters to support the proposed TCAC increases in tax credits to promote the building of affordable, accessible housing in our state. There will be scribes available to write for those who have no way to do so or you can stay in the main room and write your own letter on your computer, being able to ask questions and get ideas from other letter writers.
To sign up for a slot to dictate your letter, volunteer to be a scribe, or obtain the Zoom information, Contact Regina Brink at

Learning a New Way to Talk to Each Other:
During this time of uncertainty and change, we want to explore new ways to talk and listen to each other. Learn how to exchange ideas on sensitive topics like race and discrimination in a way that encourages dialog instead of debate or arguments. Learn how to truly hear what someone is telling you and let them know you hear them. Practice receiving feedback that may cause discomfort but help us all grow.

Glendale-Burbank Area Chapter Fundraiser:
The Glendale-Burbank Area Chapter is having an ongoing fundraiser with Terri Lynn fundraising. Anyone can order some delicious snacks when you get a craving or for gifts. Their nuts and candies are very tasty- from chocolate covered nuts, just plain nuts of all kinds, and dried fruit, separately or in a snack pack. Go to ccb-glendale-burbank.terrilynn.com
